Group Financial Controller
— a pivotal hire who will own Group reporting, strengthen financial operations, and play a key role in shaping the finance function of the future.

The Opportunity:
As Group FC, you'll lead all aspects of
financial reporting, technical accounting, and operational finance
, acting as a strategic partner to senior leadership. You'll drive improvements across systems, controls, processes, and teams — ensuring world-class financial governance and enabling scalable growth.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting
- Lead consolidated reporting, statutory accounts, and Group audit.
- Prepare technical accounting papers for acquisitions, disposals, and complex transactions.
- Provide IFRS expertise across revenue, share-based payments, acquisition accounting and more.
- Ensure compliance across tax, VAT, R&D claims, payroll sign-off and regulatory reporting.
Operational Finance & Controls
- Oversee and develop the operational finance team.
- Drive a robust month-end close and balance sheet integrity.
- Manage cash flow, working capital and financial risk.
- Build relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors and key stakeholders.
Process Improvement & Transformation
- Improve end-to-end finance processes across OTC and P2P.
- Introduce automation, systems enhancements and reconciliation digitisation.
- Define and monitor KPIs to enhance financial performance and reporting quality.
Leadership
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- ACA (or equivalent) with
several years PQE - Proven experience as
Group FC / Head of Reporting / Senior Manager
in a complex Group. - Deep IFRS expertise and strong audit background.
- Experience in high-growth, private equity or listed environments with tight deadlines.
- Strong systems capability with a continuous improvement mindset
- A strategic thinker with exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
