**Position:**:We currently have a vacancy in our Transport Department for a Trainee Transport Administrator based at our Head Office in Witham, Essex.

**Role Purpose**
The purpose of the role is to assist the transport department with any administration and customer service tasks relating to drivers and customers.

**Daily Duties**
- Maintain accurate administrative and computer records, general administration.
- Liaise with the Transport team to ensure that all freight is dispatched in accordance with it required routing and service requirements.
- Resolving and managing queries and complaints courteously and efficiently.
- First point of contact for European Import Department per location.
- Produce and print driver manifests and collection labels
- Any duties / tasks as requested by your Line Manager or a Director.

**Working Hours**

Monday - Friday

09:00 - 17:30

1 hour lunch break per day

**Requirements:**:**Required Skills & Experience**:

- GCSE English and Maths Grades 4 or above (or equivalent)
- Good IT skills
- Attention to detail
- Accurate data input
- Willingness to learn
- Good communication skills
