new Project Management Officer to join our well-established project team within
the Aerospace, defence, and Security sector of Sopra Steria.
Int this role, you
will play a vital role assist with opportunity spotting activities.
You will also be
required to demonstrate the ability to work to tight deadline, prioritising
tasks combined with being a team player.
Additionally, you
will foster a culture with knowledge sharing and continuous improvement,
demonstrating adaptability and commitment to supporting others across the team
in delivering a high-quality service.

As a key member of
the project team, you should have excellent communication skills, allowing you
to maintain relationships with your client, your team and Sopra Steria ADS, and
to communicate progress, potential issues and risks to inform the project team.
**What you'll be doing**:
Frequently and objectively analysing, consolidating, and reporting project performance and trajectory, with emphasis upon key performance indicators
Supporting client and subcontractor engagements within the context of the wider Sopra Steria/joint venture client engagement and stakeholder management structure
Working effectively within cross-functional teams, which may include subcontractor and third parties
Understanding and conforming with prescribed business governance
Understanding and conforming with the policies, standards and methods that have been prescribed within Sopra Steria’s Business Management System; utilising the prescribed Corporate tools.
Define standards and support their consistent and effective delivery. This includes ensuring management information reports contain relevant and quality information, project / programme risk management, monitoring and maintaining issues and dependencies and ensuring finance / resource profiles are accurately maintained.
Provide direction, guidance and assistance to project / programme teams to ensure that appropriate governance and controls are in place and the standard processes and procedures are adhered to.
Hold owners accountable for their commitments and conduct project team meetings to provide status updates and identify / resolve issues.
Complete governance assurance health checks to ensure that all projects are being completed within the agreed time, within approved budget and are meeting high quality standards.
Support the Project Portfolio managers and head of PMO.
Manage the Project Co-Ordinators.

SAFE, Execview, ProjectView and iQ
ADS experience
