**The Role**
The purpose of this role is to support the NPD specialists in delivering the product plan for the business across both food, homewares & gifting.
This includes but is not limited to, managing critical paths, sampling sessions and feedback, competitor shops, artwork sign-off and assisting with product launches.
This role is also essential in the coordination of the product team alongside marketing, sales and procurement.
- Conduct in-store and online research to understand product trends, market needs, and the competitive landscape including competitor benchmarking.
- Develop and maintain project plans, co-ordinating activities across departments.
- Create and manage master trackers and key processes including project critical paths.
- Manage sample requests and arrange tasting sessions, including managing feedback.
- Work with designers to finalise product and packaging designs, ensuring compliance with brand and regulatory standards.
- Gather feedback from sales teams and customers (where applicable) and report findings back to the team.
- Co-ordinate product pack copy and support artwork and packaging approvals.
- Work closely with the marketing co-ordinator to effectively communicate new product information to sales teams.
- Liaise with the marketing and sales teams to ensure smooth execution of product launches.
- Act as a key contact for all design, packaging, and launch-related activities.
- Assist with product and packaging launches by attending first production runs and coordinating launch samples. Coordinate sign-off of all QAS and manage the QAS portfolio.
- Track and evaluate the success of product launches and packaging effectiveness.
- Ability to travel across UK and abroad to assist with product launches/attend trade shows.
- Act as key point of contact on non-working days of NPD specialists (both internally and externally).
**Skills and Experience**
The key skills for this role are:
- Highly organised with the ability to plan, execute, and track project timelines and activities with keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for liaising with teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to collect, interpret, and act on feedback from various sources.
- Ability to co-ordinate activities across different departments.
- Solid understanding of basic software (excel etc.)
- Some experience in working with design teams to finalise product designs and packaging (including regulatory requirements) preferable.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
