Youth and Early Intervention Co-Ordinator - One Year Fixed Term

An opportunity has come up for a Youth and Early Intervention Co-ordinator to join the Youth and Early Intervention team for one year, to cover maternity leave and a secondment.
In this exciting and rewarding role you will work closely with the Early Intervention Team including PCs and PCSOs; with other internal business areas and also with partner agencies, identifying and exploring effective early support opportunities for children, young people and families who are at risk of poor outcomes.
You will coordinate and promote strong working relationships across all strands of policing and with key partners and stakeholders, such as schools, youth groups, families, and children with an aim to reduce crime and risk of being a victim of crime by intervening early.
You will be responsible for planning and ensuring delivery of key elements of the Early Intervention offer, such as Junior Good Citizen, World of Work, and schools’ inputs across the Force area.
Keeping up to date with local and national crime trends and emerging issues, you will attend multi-agency tactical meetings and collaboratively devise and deliver interventions for the current emerging issues. You will be confident to share key messages and provide advice and guidance on Youth and Early Intervention by keeping up to date with all procedures, developments and relevant regulations relating to early help and safeguarding.
This role is designated as AGILE which includes working at a Wiltshire Police building/office, partner organisation or from home providing this is agreed with your line manager and there is no negative impact on both the delivery of objectives and individual performance.
Hours will mainly be Monday to Friday during normal business hours, however there will be flexibility available within this to meet both business and personal circumstances within the agile/flexible working hours 0700 - 2200.

**Salary**: £23,895.00-£24,933.00 per year
