The Holiday Inn Express, East Croydon is part of a Global Brand which owes its success to ensuring that we create a great customer journey and the maintenance department is crucial to this success.

**The Role**:
**The Essential Skills**:
You must possess 3+ years practical hands-on working experience of all aspects of maintenance, health & safety and fire regulations within a hotel property environment.

Possess working knowledge of boiler systems, air conditioning units, and general building plant works

Must have some admin skills including a strong knowledge of Health & Safety record keeping

Must be commercially aware, understanding the importance of working within costs & departmental budgets

Must be flexible in work and be prepared to deal with out of hours emergency situations on occasion

Proven standards of IT skills and good standards of numeracy & literacy

Must be highly organised and well versed in completing paperwork in a timely fashion

Will be an excellent team player whilst having first class attention to detail

Ideally be First Aid qualified, however training will be provided if no current certificate in place

The position is primarily Mon-Fri but may require you to work to occasional weekend and bank holiday.
