Customer Support Manager - Hampshire - Permanent
Shorterm Group is currently recruiting for a Customer Relationship Engineer on behalf of a leading Aircraft Maintenance company based in Hampshire UK.
Job purpose:
The Customer Support Manager will serve as a technical interface in supporting customer relations throughout the lifecycle of maintenance projects and planning. They will act as the interface between the company and the customers in relation to Part 145 Maintenanceservices including supporting Team in managing their customer and working closely with Production on technical planning.
Key responsibilities:
*Reports to the Line Maintenance and AOG Manager.
*Responsible for customer technical interface in supporting customer relations throughout the lifecycle of maintenance projects
*Poinjt of contact for all Line Maintenance and AOG Support customers.
*Responsible for liaising with Customer Support Managers and Production Management to agree allocation of maintenance slots and production planning, ensuring that the incoming conditions, warranty and service programs are specified.
*Liaise with the customer with support of Customer Support Managers to establish that complete customer information and documentation is included, and made available for Production prior to commencement of input
*Liaise with the customer and Production as required and in cooperation with the CSMs to inform and to solve any technical challenges whilst the aircraft is being maintained including supporting pre and post input meetings
*Responsible for collecting and analyzing customer surveys' / feedback, to present results to the management team and to ensure corrective actions follow-up, when required, within the different departments
*Act as a relationship lead for designated stakeholders
*To continually seek best practice and strive to identify and propose service improvement
*To undertake any other duties deemed relevant by the Technical Service Director
Experience required:
*Previous Customer Support or Field Service role experience at a technical level.
Good knowledge of aerospace regulatory framework and operational impact of applicable laws and regulations
*Good knowledge of Quality sector regulations
*Able to represent the company and establish and maintain effective working relationships
*Interpersonal skills
*Experience in aircraft maintenance as a technician / engineer
*Understanding of Part 145 and Part M requirements
*Self-driven and results orientated with a clear focus on safety and quality
*Ability to negotiate and reach compromise, proactive, problem -solving ability
*Enthusiastic and passionate about aerospace
*Flexible and able to manage varying demands and workloads
*Able to understand technical issues: interpret regulatory and technical data
*High levels of interpersonal skills, discretion, and trustworthiness
*Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) & numerical skills
*Experience in Business Aviation maintenance
*Have the right to work in the UK without restriction
Understanding of EH&S Practices and policies.
