**Job title: Legal Company Secretary
Location: London & home working (hybrid)
Daily rate: £600 Umbrella
Duration: 12 months contract**

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Assistant Company Secretary (Legal) to work for a leading international organisation, based in London on a 12 months contract.

**Key responsibilities**
Assist the Deputy Company Secretary for the provision of day to day Corporate Matters
Responsible for elements of the Governance section of the Business Annual report and Form 20F and associated shareholder documentation. Support the Deputy Company Secretary on businesses plc related matters.
Provide insight and advice on the governance controls and processes attributed to subsidiary entities across the global footprint. Provide Board support and corporate governance advice to the Directors of all Trading & Supply (T&S) companies in London, someof which are FCA regulated entities. Ad-hoc support on other entities within the group of companies as needed. Ensure compliance with changing statutory, regulatory and corporate governance landscape.
- ICSA (or equivalent) qualified
- Previous plc experience, post-qualification.
- Proven track record in the provision of support for a UK listed entity.
- Excellent understanding of the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules, Listing Rules, UK Governance Code and EU Market Abuse Regulation and Shareholder Rights Directive.
- Demonstrated track record in subsidiary management roles.
- Ability to effectively manage relationships with the key stakeholders relevant to the board/committee(s) for which you have been allocated responsibility.
- Learning agility, conceptual thinker with problem solving and analytical capability.
- Ability to balance inquiry and advocacy, with good stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to influence and deliver through others at a global and cross-business level, including contextualising and helping colleagues embrace change.
- Proven collaboration and project management skills.
- Adaptable to different cultures and working with diverse and virtual teams.
- Proven high delivery and project management capability.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills, verbal and written skills, attention to detail and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, varied environment.
- Material business acumen and ability to focus and deliver in a broad range of scenarios.
- Good knowledge of various IT systems including; GEMs/Blueprint, Microsoft Package, Sharepoint, Docusign, W-Desk, CtrlPrint
