Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly under the guidance of the kitchen staff
- Support the chef in various kitchen tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas
- Follow food safety guidelines and procedures
- Help with catering orders and event preparation

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with meal assembly and presentation
- Understanding of kitchen equipment and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

These duties may be varied to meet the changing demands of the School at the reasonable discretion of the Kitchen Manager. This job description does not form part of the contract of employment. It describes the way the post holder is expected and required to perform and complete the particular duties as set out above.
