**Job Description
- Housing Support Worker
- Hull**

The role will involve supporting vulnerable adults recently released from custody and/or on bail, ensuring compliance documentation is kept up to date and property management of supported accommodation. Responsibilities include focusing on 3 properties inHull and travel around Yorkshire and Humber.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work in partnership with a range of external agencies such as the probation and police service, social services and local authorities
- Carry out risk assessments and implement effective risk management/care plans to track and monitor progress of individuals
- Provide support regarding tenancy sustainment, rent collection and benefit claims and make the necessary
- Good knowledge/prior experience of the criminal justice and prison system
- Prior experience of working alongside vulnerable adults with complex needs (substance misuse, mental health issues, learning difficulties)
- Extensive knowledge of safeguarding creating care plans
- Confidence in dealing with challenging behaviour
- A commitment to making a positive impact in others lives
