As the Payroll Assistant you will focus on activities that help organise data related to providing compensation to a company's employees.
**Client Details**
My client is looking for a Payroll Assistant to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. They are looking for an experienced Payroller to come in and hit the ground running
**Description**
Main duties and responsibilities of the Payroll Assistant;
- Collect daily, weekly or monthly time-sheets
- Working out tax and national insurance deductions
- Ensure wages and tax comply with regulations
- Entering new employee data into the company database
- Helping and answering employee's questions and concerns regarding payroll
- Calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, taxes, and deductions
- Other adhoc Payroll duties
**Profile**
The successful Payroll Assistant;
- Worked in a similar role
- Experience in Payroll
- Time-management skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Good communications skills
- Good organisational skills and an ability to work to deadlines
