Our client is a well known business based in Newcastle looking for a Payroll Administrator, as part of a friendly team you will be responsible for assisting the monthly payroll team processing payroll, as well as providing technical and practical supportto the team ensuring that all automated processes run smoothly.

**Responsibilities**
- Work with Payroll Seniors and Manager ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Handling of the day to day payroll
- First line Payroll queries, as well as managing day to day issues that arise
- Inputting data
- Handling timesheets
- Calculation of SSP,SMP,SPP
- Reconciliations
- Full processing

**Requirements**:

- Experience of working in a payroll function
- The ability to perform complex manual payroll calculations
- Good working knowledge of current payroll legislation
- The ability to work flexibly according to the changing needs of a busy office
