The Milton Keynes RSPCA branch is dedicated to promoting animal welfare and preventing cruelty to animals in the Milton Keynes area. Our comprehensive services include rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming, and education to enhance the well-being of both animals and the community. With a dedicated team of volunteers and staff, we have supported countless animals and individuals, fostering a more compassionate and humane society.

Profits from our shops directly fund our work helping local animals so this is an outstanding opportunity for someone with empathy for the RSPCA's principles to make a real difference to animal welfare.

**Overview**

The role will involve both front of store selling activates as well as donation sortation and preparation.

**Duties**
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the shop floor
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management
- Operate the till and handle customer transactions
- Sort through donated items to determine what we can sell
- Prepare donated items for sale by steaming and hanging items
- Support the shop manager with administrative tasks as required

**Skills**
- Strong IT skills to operate the till system and basic computer tasks
- Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with customers
- Administrative skills to assist with paperwork and record-keeping

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £0.01-£0.02 per year

Expected hours: 4 - 8 per week
