Brook Street are recruiting on behalf of our Public Sector Client for an Information Co-ordinator to work in Welllingborough NN8 Hours - 08:30 - 17:00 - Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week (flexible) **Salary**: £22,694- £25,748 (dependant on experience) Permanent position Parking available Main responsibilities; " To ensure the content on the service internet and intranet is customer interactive and remains current, factual and relevant for all service users. " To develop and maintain bespoke systems to ensure accuracy of data held within the Service Information Team. " To ensure that statistics and management reports are generated and distributed as required. " To investigate claims, payments and petty cash queries and assist with problem solving. " Maintain close liaison with service colleagues to ensure that specifications relating to the design of systems are adhered to. " To produce information and statistics for managers, external agencies and statutory departments, and to assist in the interpretation and analysis of trends and forecasts to enhance the decision making process. " To mentor and train service personnel in Information Management and handle complex requests relating to GDPR/DPA/FOI. " To share knowledge and information with colleagues, contributing to the team's ability to deliver continuous performance improvements. " To maintain a high degree of confidentiality for all information handled, minuting high level management meetings. " To provide support and cover for the other members of the team as required. " Demonstrate awareness/understanding of equal opportunities, NFRS service values and other people's behavioural, physical, social and welfare needs. " Ensure that reasonable care is taken at all times for the health, safety and welfare of yourself and other persons, and to comply with the policies and procedures relating to health and safety within the department. Qualifications required; Educated to GCSE standard in English and Maths (or equivalent) - Essential NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration - Desirable Driving Licence - Desirable Achieved or working towards ECDL - Desirable Skills required; " Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of Health and Safety regulations " Ability to demonstrate awareness/ understanding of equal opportunities and other people's behaviour, physical, social and welfare needs " Must be able to demonstrate competency in all Microsoft Office programmes " Proven ability to adapt quickly to work with processes on a variety of bespoke databases and computer systems " To be able to communicate both in verbal and written contexts to a high standard " To be able to prioritise workload according to the needs of the Service and maintaining good working relationships at all times " Experience of recording accurate accounts of high level meetings " Experience of managing varied content across both internet and intranet platforms " To be able to maintain a large volume of electronic records " Experience of carrying out a variety of tasks in a busy office and to be able to demonstrate working as part of a team and establishing relationships with people at all levels " Proven experience of SharePoint 2013/16 " Proven knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation, Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information Act, and Environmental Information Regulations " o
