If you offer experience of working in a transactional or customer-facing administrative role, preferably in a HR or payroll environment, this position offers an exciting opportunity to develop yourself playing a key role in the HR Operations Team of a world-leadinggovernment department.

To achieve our strategic objectives, it is vital that we continue to build on the capacity, capability and commitment of our people. To help achieve this, the HR Operations Team ensure our people have the best systems and operations in place to support,deliver, recognise and reward their work.

As a HR Officer, you will support the HR Operations Team in delivering a high quality and customer focused HR Operations service to internal CMA colleagues, external stakeholders and other parts of the HR directorate.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Implementing joiner, leaver, employment change and leave processes for staff
- Ensuring an efficient and effective payroll and pension service is provided to all CMA staff
- Maintaining the accuracy and quality of staff records and data held on the HR database
- Reconciling monthly payroll reports
- Contributing to HR continuous improvement projects

You will need the ability to work with mínimal supervision to plan and organise a busy workload at pace, prioritising tasks effectively to meet deadlines. You will also need experience of providing a high-quality administrative service, including documentmanagement and filing, with excellent attention to detail. Excellent IT skills and experience of using databases to record data and produce reports is equally important.
