Longleat is seeking a enthusiastic and experienced Kitchen Production Supervisor to join our team and help us continue our tradition of hiring engaged, productive employees. You'll be at the heart of our diverse range of kitchen outlets, supporting the Kitchen Production Manager and Head of Food and Beverage, to deliver a consistent high quality food standard, providing our guests with delicious and wholesome food that caters to every taste. This is no ordinary hospitality role, working hours are extremely attractive with no split shifts, no late nights or early mornings, meaning a great work life balance.
**What will this role entail?**
Reporting to the Kitchen Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for supervising the daily food production department within Longleat. You will be ensuring the consistent delivery of high quality food, whilst maintaining the required high standard of cleanliness and presentation of all food and beverage production areas.
Key duties will include:
- Understanding and having the ability to supervise and deliver food compliance to the requirements of the Longleat food corporate policy
- Supervise, train and develop the kitchen brigade to produce a high standard of food delivery
- Provide the highest standard of preparation and of all food and beverage items
- Maintain portion control to be consistent with control standards to ensure cost of sale targets are met
- Supervise the preparation of the required volume of food for the food and beverage production areas to meet variable demands as cascaded at daily morning briefs
- Ensure work areas are kept in a clean and hygienic condition in line with internal periodic audits
- To assist the kitchen production manager in achieving key annual performance targets of food and beverage sales, cost of sales and labour costs as set in the annual budget
- To meet KPI's as set out by the Head of Food and Beverage
**What will I need to be considered for this vacancy?**
You will have a genuine interest in food production, always striving to exceed expectations. You will have a great ability to lead a large team whilst also having keen attention to detail.
- Has worked within the hospitality industry in a multi food outlet site or large scale production site
- At least 2 years + experience working in a kitchen environment
- Experience of working within a kitchen team within a fast-paced customer facing environment and be able to work well under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Driven by the buzz of a busy kitchen environment with a genuine interest in food production.

This is a permanent 40 hour contract, working 5 days out of 7, including weekends, evening and bank holidays as required. The earliest start time is 8am, and the latest finish time is 8pm, varying in accordance with opening times.
