**The Main Purpose of this Role**:
**You will be responsible for**:
Implementing the booking requirements laid out by the Sales Manager and structuring the Reservation Team to effectively deliver a successful shift. Taking reservations and assisting the sales manager with administration.
Driving pre ordered sales from point of enquiry and driving Top Up Sales from the floor. Engaging with the booked parties and customers to ensure repeat business and happy customers
**The Detail**
**Administrative Requirements**:
Be smartly dressed and well presented in accordance with the Drake and Morgan grooming policies and uniform requirements, ready to ensure that all customers are greeted with a smile and a welcome and are shown to their table in a friendly and professional manner.
Be responsible for the computerised reservations system, and ensure that revenue is maximised through effective use of available space and table plans.
Print all table plans before each service and co-ordinate the seating plans for both restaurant and private dining areas ensuring the best use of the available space.
Communicate all booking information and special requests to the Manager on Duty.
Provide the floor team with support and assistance where needed and as directed by the Manager on duty.
Present customers with menus and wine lists and ensure that the station waiter is aware that customers have been seated.
Work effectively with all teams, companies and associates to ensure consistency, efficiency, professionalism and effective communication. Ensure complete and consistent cleanliness of the hostess area. Communicate with management on any issue related to customers.
Enforce and comply with all company policies and procedures which are fundamental in maintaining effective performance, communication and good business reputation.
Enforce and comply with all statutory legislation and policy i.e. Food Hygiene and Fire, Health & Safety and attend any training as requested by the company and required by law.
**Reservation Shifts**:
Answer the telephone in a friendly, courteous and attentive manner, listening to customer requirements and enquiries, giving advice about service style, products and events.
Ensure that all incoming enquiries via the website, face to face and over the are dealt with promptly and professionally, and deliver a high level of conversion from enquiry to firm booking.
Ensure that customer requirements are clearly communicated to relevant departments, to ensure that our customer experience is exceptional.
