Our Network Control team have an opportunity for you to join as our new **Network Controller**

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our Network Control Team. You’ll play an essential role in the operation and control of the company’s Waste Water Assets. Providing excellent customer service, you’ll also proactively monitor our assets, identify service failures and risk which you’ll prioritise and mitigate.

The significance of the work you’ll do as a Network Controller makes is key in delivering full compliance, regulatory and company standards. You’ll also be the critical link between Environmental Agency and Severn Trent in responding to pollutions.

So, are you a Network Controller who has the ability to make quick and precise decisions? Has a brilliant work ethic, who can work as part of a team and multiple stakeholders to deliver project objectives?

Some of your other key accountabilities will include:

- You’ll be responsible for overall performance of Waste Water Services and the decisions/instructions issued in respect of asset operation and resource development.
- Oversee effective plans to minimise asset failure impact against our targets and create robust response strategies to protect the environment and our assets.
- Analyse our service failure risk from multiple data sources, some of which may conflict. You’ll also create resource and equipment requirement plans to deliver activity and prioritise and escalate risk to appropriate level.
- Co-ordinate operational events by working in a collaborative manner with all stakeholders to achieve our legal and regulatory targets throughout the end-to-end process.
- Record & gather data for regulatory reporting.
- This is a 24/7 x 365 shift-based role including working weekends and bank holidays so a very flexible approach will be required.
