**Technical Service Expert - Printing Inks**

We are looking for an experienced technical service expert to join our paste inks development team to provide technical support at customer print trials, to ensure their success. The role is based in our laboratories in Harlow, Essex but with frequent overseas travel.

The Role:

- To attend customer print trials to ensure that products are run under optimal conditions, and adjust inks as necessary during trials to achieve customer requirements
- To maintain accurate records of trial operating conditions and results, and capture and document lessons learnt
- To carry out technical work and assist in problem solving for customer enquiries
- To set up new ink formulations and ensure smooth transfer into production, assisting with QA as required

What you’ll need:

- Relevant technical experience of high viscosity printing inks, such as offset, letterpress and intaglio inks
- Comprehensive experience of running printing trials and on-press trouble shooting
- A background in offset or intaglio printing is strongly preferred
- Experience in colour matching both visually and with spectrophotometers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong initiative and focus on achieving technical results and meeting customer requirements
- Good customer facing skills
