**Back Office Administrator - Mail Operations**

Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week, 8am to 4pm

£20,000 per annum

Office Location - Hoddesdon

The Back Office Administrator ensures the timely and accurate operation of the Back office department including but not limited to mail operations, yearend admin and activities supporting the back office team processes.

Responsibilities of the Back Office Administrator:

- Open post and scan correspondence.
- Batch receipt cheque payments for service charges & completions.
- Daily Banking, Collection & Delivery DX mail in Hoddesdon.
- Prepare & frank outgoing mail for collection via Royal Mail Business Mail Advance etc. This involves lifting and carrying boxes of headed paper, copier paper, envelopes etc. (manual handling advice provided).
- Send letters via ePOD - electronic mailing system
- Operate document folder inserting machine and franking equipment.
- Order and monitor stationery supplies.
- Dealing with returned mail
- Pleasantly ‘Meet and Greet’ visitors in reception.
- Ensure that Health and Safety is complied with for visitors signing in.
- Accept deliveries.
- Complete all further reasonable external or internal requests that come into the department.
- Arrange and liaise with auditors when audits are due/in progress.
- Process accounts administrative tasks.
- Transfer files to audit.
- Arrange client and audit signatures.
- Filing Accounts at Companies House.

Skills and experience of the Back Office Administrator:

- A can-do attitude
- Basic to medium user of MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word
- Office experience is beneficial
- Driving license and transport is beneficial
