**Warehouse Stock Control Required - London City Bond Limited**

Full-Time Permanent Warehouse/Stock Control needed to join our dedicated team in our HMRC controlled warehouse facility in Barking.

**One question before you consider this role**:
How are you with heights, the role will demand the driving of various Material Handling Equipment - Man-up order pickers and VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) trucks. In house training can be given for those without the appropriate licences.

The role is full-time, working 40 hours per week with 1-hour unpaid break each day.

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, friendly team which continues to grow, in order to give our customers great service. We are looking to recruit straight away and we will recruit direct, not via an agency or temp-to-perm.

**The Process**:
Once you have applied for the role you will be invited to come along to site to undergo an assessment (if successful of course) and this will involve:

- An interview with a current LCB employee (15-20 minutes)
- A basic maths test (20 minutes)
- A basic English test (20 minutes)
- A practical, warehouse-based test (10 minutes)

Once the above is complete, we will assess your scores and so long as you have scored enough points across the four parts (above) you will be offered the opportunity to meet your line manager and be offered a job

Please note, as part of our process, and because we are a HMRC controlled warehouse, we will ask you to undertake a basic DBS check.

**Duties will include but are not limited to**:
Data entry, report production, up keep of Excel documents, annual customer audits, rolling stock takes, goods in checks.

**What is expected of you?**
- With the right training be able to drive the MHE to fulfil the role described above.
- Have a good level of computer competency and an eye for detail.
- Have a knowledge of warehouse functions.
- Have very good vocabulary skills and a competent phone manner.
- Be organised and have good multi-tasking and time management skills
- Have a pro-active and positive can do attitude

**What is on offer**:

- Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 16:00
- All overtime above 40 hours is paid at a flat rate at £16.00ph

Please note some heavy lifting will be involved and attention to detail is a must. You will be working in a small group of reliable and enthusiastic people. Previous warehouse experience is an advantage, but not essential.
