**Restaurant & Bar Supervisor (Shift Leader)**

**This is a permanent and full-time position working 40-45 hrs p/week, 5 days over 7. It will include shifts and weekends.**

With business on the up we have an exciting opportunity available.

We’re looking for an exceptional, service led, Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our fantastic, casual, all day dining venue, Element Bar & Kitchen at The Comet Hotel, Hatfield.

We offer a relaxed, welcoming and informal environment for our guests, serving fantastic, uncomplicated food, some great wines, drinks and cocktails. We offer lounge areas with comfy sofas to relax in and plenty of Wi-Fi and plug sockets, perfect for meetings or guests just for settling in with their laptop.

As one of our supervisors you’ll be ready to hit to hit the floor running and will already be well versed in creating fantastic memories for our customers, ensuring they’ll want to return and become advocates of the business. You’ll also be a great leader with strong communication and influencing skills, you’ll have an approachable manner and a “hands on” attitude, an eye for detail and the ability to drive consistent standards and exceed guest expectations.

We are an independent operation with great owners. There are no head office obstructions and you’ll have the opportunity to help us shape the future of the operation.

Ideally you will have;
- Previous experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor ideally in a contemporary and/or branded high-volume restaurant or busy hotel restaurant
- Great knowledge of coffees, wines, drinks and cocktails
- Hands on, sleeves up attitude. A supervisor who can lead and inspire both new and established team members
- The knowledge of how to handle big numbers without breaking a sweat, and strive to make those numbers even bigger
- The attitude to always behave with integrity and passion in everything you do
- Experience to know all there is to know about running a perfect shift, wowing guests, and working with and supporting your colleagues in order to achieve team success - it’s all about the team

**Salary**: £9.75-£10.00 per hour
