**Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Band 3 Booking Clerk to work within the NHS on a ongoing temporary agency contact. This role will be based in the Birmingham area.***:
**Hours**
37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
9am - 5pm
**Rate**
£10.50 - £11 PAYE depending on past experience
- Paid weekly via an umbrella company
**Main Duties**
To undergo administrative work and provide secretarial support to various teams, wards or departments within the hospital. This will include being the first point of contact for team/ department, which could involve duties such as:
- **To input all referrals received into the Trust onto the Lorenzo/IPM system and add to the outpatient waiting list on the day the referral is received into the Trust**:
- ** Use of the Choose and Book system to book and amend outpatient appointments**:
- ** Register all new patients onto the Lorenzo/IPM system**:
- ** To input patients onto both new and FU waiting lists**:
- ** Book all appointments within the national waiting time.**:
- **Escalate any referrals that will breach to the Booking Centre Team Leader.**:
- **Provide first point of contact to patients/parents on the telephone and deal with any queries in a professional and efficient manner.**:
- ** Registration of patients and production of registration documentation using the Lorenzo/IPM system.**:
- ** To input outpatient outcomes and relevant ICD10 and OPCS coding onto the Lorenzo/IPM system**
