**The Role**

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a proactive and experienced individual to join our Site Maintenance team as a Site Maintenance Operative. This role is full time based at our head office at Norwich Airport and is on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.

**Key Responsibilities**

Key tasks in this role will include:

- Any minor repairs to equipment and buildings including laying cement, brickwork, minor plumbing, and blockages.
- Carrying out regular inspections of equipment and facilities, including identifying deficiencies in safe working practices in relation to docking/staging equipment and user behaviour.
- Carrying our driving duties in various vehicles.
- Building and certification of Layher docking.
- Acting without supervision to ensure safe working conditions are met.
- Assisting Base Maintenance with health and safety briefs as required.

**Selection Criteria**
- Have a good working knowledge of health and safety legislation, especially working at height.
- Have NVQ City & Guilds in building maintenance or proven experience in a facility maintenance role.
- Have a full UK driving licence
- Be IOSH trained (desirable)
- Be Layher scaffold trained (desirable)
- Be IPAF qualified (desirable)
- Have a safety harness qualification (desirable)
- Train the trainer course (desirable)
