**Service Overview**

This role is based at Green Gables in Alfreton. Green Gables is a residential home providing support for 28 physically disabled adults. We specialise in supporting people who have varying needs as a result of physical and long term neurological conditions including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, head/brain injury, hearing impairment & deafness, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, speech impairment and stroke.

**What is the role?**

**Kitchen Assistant - £9.50 (FTE: £18525)**
- To support Cook in preparation for mealtimes, help serve people we support and clean up after meal times.
- To work closely with the wider care team to learn peoples likes and dislikes
- To participate in the preparation and cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas as per cleaning schedule, ensuring that the required standard is met, including compliance with COSHH requirements.
- To follow HACCP system guidelines in the storage, preparation & serving of food.
- To always keep the kitchen clean and tidy.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
