**Role: Commercial Business Partner**
**Location: Stafford - Hybrid working**
**Type: Permanent**
**Hourly rate: £ 39,183 to £45,873**
Sellick Partnership are representing a well-known public sector organisation in Stafford. They are looking for a dynamic Commercial Business Partner on a permanent basis, whom is able to provide commercial support to directorate leads and manager acrossthe organisation. This opportunity requires a professional who is able to support the best possible service with the resources available, and will need to able to provide advice on professional procurement and business knowledge.
Our client is looking for a highly experienced and qualified procurement specialist, who is able to provide market knowledge and ensure the all expenditure delivers value for money for both organisations to maximise the use of resources.
**Key responsibilities for the Commercial Business Partner are;**
- Drive the implementation of and compliance with procurement, purchasing and commercial strategies for the organisation to maximise the commercial benefit for the all organisations
- Ensure operational procedures are implemented and completed with by all organisations
- Address actions to procurement risk mitigation strategies
- Maintain a partnership and contracts register where all organisations can identify the commercial benefits of the arrangements in place to ensure benefits are realised and utilised to the full potential
- Implement and ensure compliance with a contract management framework that supports all organisations to maximise the benefits of the contractual arrangements
- Lead, co-ordinate and manage contract management meetings ensuring conformity to framework and mitigating contract risks during contractual performance
- Ensure any framework agreements and collaboration arrangement address the needs of the organisations
- Monitor compliance with the organisations contract standing orders
- Support with leadership, management and development of commercial services
- Contribute to efficient running of the finance department and it's future development
- Accountable for the procurement officer to support with their development
- A Chartered Procurement Qualification or Level 6 Business Management qualification or equivalent experience with evidence of Procurement knowledge
- Experience of operating at a manager level
- Experience of managing and controlling commercial activity
- Experience of Stakeholder management at all levels
- Experience managing projects or business change
- Demonstrate they have track record of providing a high-quality customer focused service
- Prince 2 Project Management is desirable but not essential
- Lean Sixth Sigma is desirable but not essential
The Commercial Business Partner will need to able to be an excellent communicator, with experience of dealing with a range of experience to provide the organisation with a professional who is compassionate, committed, inclusive, creative and an visionaryleader.
