**Business Development Consultant**

**Location: Manchester**

**Salary: £25,000 - £42,000**

A brilliant opportunity for a Business Development Consultant to join a National Financial Planning firm who provide an exceptional Wealth Management service and have an excellent reputation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivering leads and appointments resulting in the generation of written business, in order to meet the company’s business targets
- Building on existing relationships with key individuals
- Securing and developing nurture new relationships, via networking, personal introductions and promotional activity
- Managing such relationships on a local basis on behalf of the company
- Organising, delivering and managing educational and PR-focused events both of a digital and face to face nature to an exceptional standard, creating positive brand awareness and a receptive environment
- Identifying and targeting client contact
- Facilitating the smooth transfer of client referrals to the advisory force, and to work with the Lead Management Team to ensure robust records are maintained with regards to referrals and outcomes
- Holding regular review meetings with the Senior Managers and advisers in order to provide feedback and to ensure that focus is maintained to deliver business results and an exceptional client experience
- Supporting and communicating corporate messages to the highest standards, as required

**Skills**:

- Ability to engage audiences on a one to one and group platform
- Confident and comfortable addressing large audiences
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Self-discipline to be able to work at home
- Experience of approaching, securing and developing business relationships
- Previous experience of initiating, arranging and managing the delivery of events and Business Development
