The Security Controller role is within our Cavendish Nuclear business.

**The role**
**The difference our new Security Controller will make**
As a Security Controller you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll coordinate and deliver the implementation of security policies and assurance, ensuring all Cavendish Nuclear business units deliver to all required legislative, customer and Babcocksecurity standards. You will engage routinely with Cavendish Nuclear leadership teams to provide expertise and guidance as appropriate.
Day to day, you'll be asked to provide leadership, management and oversight of security throughout the Cavendish Nuclear business to support delivery of strategic security objectives, have a positive secure awareness culture and be a part of the developmentand management of local security 'champions'. You'll maintain awareness of evolving security threats, regulatory, legal and other factors that may affect the security of our people, assets, information or reputation and provide expert guidance and assuranceto business units, leadership teams and senior risk owners in relation to protective security risk management that ensures an intelligent, proportionate and compliant approach to security across the business.

**Essential experience**
- Ideally experience of working in a security role within a List N / FSC environment
- Full current driving licence
- Understanding of civil nuclear and defence industries and the applicable security regulations (desirable).
