**The Role & Team**
This is a great opportunity to be part of an established Wellbeing Service which is part of the Public Health Directorate of North East Lincolnshire Council.

The Wellbeing Worker role principally centres on providing person centred support to individuals requiring support with their general health and wellbeing.

The role will involve using a coaching approach to proactively engage and build supportive relationships with target populations in North East Lincolnshire with a view to empowering them to take control of and improve their health and wellbeing including managing a varied caseload of clients. Most of the work will include 1 to 1 working with people signposted, referred or self-referred to the Wellbeing Service and may include some group work, virtual support and occasional home visits.

We support adults over the age of 18 with lifestyle and behavioural change around stopping smoking, healthy eating, physical activity and low level mental and emotional wellbeing.

**Your Responsibilities**
You will work out in the community supporting clients with a holistic approach to health and wellbeing, “Who and what matters to them” encouraging and motivating clients to achieve the goals that are important to them, helping to build confidence, self-esteem and resilience. Our sessions are easily accessible using settings/venues close to where the client lives.

We are looking for someone dynamic and enthusiastic with a high level of autonomy, excellent communication skills, able to work on your own initiative and as part of a dynamic team.

We offer flexible working although there may be some requirement to work occasional evenings or weekends.

**This role is a blended working role.**
