Home-Start Cotswolds is a local charity offering trained volunteer and expert support in helping families with young children through their challenging times.

If you have experience in family support, mental health support, case management or community work, this role could be just what you are looking for. We are committed to helping families with young children through their most challenging times. Our coordinators develop strong and trusting relationships with families, workingalongside them to identify their support needs. Coordinators match families to a trained volunteer and oversee the supportprovided through regular family review meetings and volunteer support and supervision. Thecoordinators are also responsible for recruitment of volunteers and their initial and ongoing training.

**Essential requirements**:

- Experience of supporting children and families.
- Knowledge and understanding of the needs of families.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults.
- Ability to supervise and support volunteers.
- A commitment to anti-discriminatory practice.
