**Job Title: Housing Administrator**
**Locations: Leyland PR25**
**Contract Type: Temporary ongoing for minimum 3 months**
**Work Pattern: Monday-Friday 36.25 hours per week**
**Start Date: ASAP**

**Key responsibilities -**
- To provide administrative support to the Area Housing team including ensuring that documents are electronically filed, raising purchase order requests, administering the receipt of invoices, undertaking photocopying and ensuring IT systems are updated in a timely and accurate manner.
- Arrange appointments for staff to carry out a range of tasks using IT systems including scheduling visits for mobile staff.
- To respond to all queries via telephone and electronic means and resolve such enquiries following Group procedures.
- Produce new tenancy sign up packs in a timely manner.
- Produce mutual exchange paperwork and arrange for the signing of such paperwork by the tenants.
- To update lettings data from sign up paper work.
- To set up paperless direct debit mandates and process all payment on request from customers with sign off by relevant Manager and in line with policies and procedures
- Raise purchase orders and pay invoices including communal cleaning and replacement furniture/white goods
- Prepare welcome packs for Shared Ownership properties

**Essential Criteria**:

- Experience of working in an office administration environment ideally within a Housing setting.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience in delivering excellent customer care
- Ability to deal with customers' complaints and resolve problems
- Good problem solving skills, including the ability to use your initiative and exercise good judgment
