Governance Body are looking for an Interim Security Consultant for a 3 month contract to focus on both GRC and Security Operations. Please note this role is mostly remote (occasional requirement to go to London) and is outside IR35.

**THE ROLE**

The Information Security Consultant will be responsible for:

- Maintain the Security risk register and assist with internal and external audits
- Assist with creating and maintaining security awareness training
- Support the delivery of the vendor management process
- Support cyber intelligence, threat detection, vulnerability management and penetration testing
- Coordinate penetration testing
- Ensure projects are secure by design

**YOU**

The Information Security Consultant should have experience of:

- Strong technical security background in controls and operations
- A strong understandin of key threat actors
- Experience of threat intelligence, detection and response, data leakage prevention and SIEM Solutions
- Have worked in the Security GRC space
- Have strong stakeholder management skills
- Be able to work in a proactive manor
