**Executive Assistant to Chief Operating Officer**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Executive Assistant to Chief Operating Officer to join our team at the City of Portsmouth College (CoPC).

The post is for Executive Assistant to Chief Operating Officer. The role is based at our Highbury campus but travel may be required between campuses based in Portsmouth on occasions.

**Main responsibilities of the Executive Assistant to Chief Operating Officer are**:

- To provide an administrative / PA support to the Chief Finance Officer
- To provide administrative support to the Chief Finance Officer
- Progressing / chasing / collating reports/papers/documents requested by on behalf of the Chief Finance Officer
- Organising and maintain and archiving filing systems, paper-based and electronic.
- Arranging and setting up meetings on behalf of the Chief Finance Officer
- To provide cover to the EA to the Principal when the EA is on leave.
- To take notes at meetings on behalf of the Chief Finance Officer Highbury College
- It is essential that to occupy such a role, the post holder will have well developed organisational, communication and teamwork skills. S/he will also have an ability to meet targets and deadlines.
- Portray the office as professional, helpful and approachable whilst maintaining discretion, dignity and sincerity. Direction Received
- In supporting the Chief Finance Officer, the post holder must be self-motivated and capable of creativity.. Liaison
- Liaise with all academic and business support staff within the College.
- Act as an ambassador for the College in any external activities so that the College’s good reputation is further developed.
