**Role: Housekeeping Assistant**

**Location**: The Harborne Hospital

**Shifts**: Flexible shift patterns to suit you, between Monday and Sunday, 6:30am to 10pm

**Hours**: Full-time, 37.5 hours/ week
**Salary**: £24,472.50 per annum + excellent benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits package plus career development)

**What you’ll do**:
From cleaning private rooms to the public areas everyone enjoys, you’ll play a big part in helping us make our hospitals warm and welcoming. We’ll look to you to maintain our high standards by ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors and patients.

You might find the work familiar, but there is also a shared sense of purpose in delivering a complete patient care experience. That means you can make a special kind of difference to people just when they really need it, whether that’s by ensuring a patient’s room is gleaming before admission, or our communal areas are clean and tidy for visitors, everything you do here will have a direct impact on our patients and their families, reassuring them they’re in the best hands when they’re at their most vulnerable.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Fluent in English
- Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience within similar environment desirable
- Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures
- Health and Safety training
- Lifting and Handling
