**Payroll Assistant**

Experienced Payroll Assistantrequired for a six a month Fixed Term Contract to work within the NWF Group HR team in Wardle.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Support the processing of three weekly payrolls, accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in some monthly payroll processing and reporting, accurately and efficiently.
- Collecting, calculating and inputting data
- Checking the accuracy of payments and statutory deductions
- PAYE/NIC and statutory payments administration
- Processing starters and leavers, tax code changes, court orders and up to date payroll records
- Recording and calculating absence leave and payments
- Monitoring and coordinating workplace pension submissions
- The processing and administration of Company benefits
- Working with the Accounts teams to provide them with the reports they require
- Uploading payslips and P45’s into the system
- Making BACS payments to HMRC in relation to PAYE
- You may also be required to assist the wider team with general administrative tasks

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous payroll experience is essential
- Strong numeracy skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Competent in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise your workload
- Enthusiastic team player with a professional and positive attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £26,265.00 per year
