**Financial Accountant - Bridgend**

**Hybrid Working Opportunity**

**Salary up to £50,000 + Excellent Benefits Package**

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Ensure overall general ledger integrity, overseeing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams
- Production of month end and year end process
- Coordinate SOX internal and external audit
- VAT returns for UK & Ireland
- Fixed asset activity
- Review, monitor and control monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliation
- Prepare statutory financial statements and group reporting for consolidated financial statements
- Cost reporting and reconciliation
- File annual company returns
- Improvement of internal control system and preparation of policies & procedures
- Liaising with Audit
- Focusing on European regions

**Person Specifications**:

- Previous exposure of working within Manufacturing/Wholesale business would be highly advantageous
- Strong IT skills, having the ability to analyse and interpret data targeted at both financial and non-financial managers
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- 'Go getting’ attitude
- Flexible and willingness to take on a variety of projects
- Work both independently and as a part of a team
