**Job Role - **Teaching Assistant - SEMH**

Pay Rate £70 - £80

Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant who specialises in SEMH? Are you passionate about Special Needs and looking for a new opportunity?

Chalk are recruiting for this SEMH Teaching Assistant position which is a long term placement starting in September and is the perfect opportunity to join a dynamic Pupil Referral Unit in Salford.

This role will involve supporting pupil(s) with SEMH, providing guidance and assistance for the young people to ensure they reach their educational goals.
- Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people._

**To be considered for this role you will need**:

- Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
- 1 year minimum experience in SEND
- Knowledge of working with SEMH / Challenging Behaviour (preferably)

- References confirming suitability for role

- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK
