**Business Analyst - Tech / Data - Banking - Belfast - £500 (Inside IR35)**

Harvey Nash are currently a Global Tier 1 Investment Bank with their requirement to bring on an experienced Technical / Data BA, on a contract basis, within their Regulatory Control function.
- £500 p/day (Inside IR35, via Umbrella)
- 12 month contract (initial duration)
- Belfast - hybrid (2-3 days p/week expected on site)

**Background**:
The team has three distinct functions: Regulatory Reporting, Change Management and Quality Assurance.

This role is aligned to the Quality Assurance function, which is responsible for the following:

- Reviewing transaction reports for completeness and correctness in line with regulatory requirements across all asset classes
- Reconciling reported data against front office execution and booking systems
- Identifying and tracking issues to resolution whilst liaising with support, development and BA teams

**The Role**:

- To support the Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance manager within the Regulatory Reporting function through the following:

- Identifying and remediating data quality issues with, but not limited to, SFTR and MiFID II Transaction Reporting logic***:

- Issue identification and data analysis
- Issue tracking and ownership to resolution
- UAT and post-production testing of fixes/enhancements
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in procedures
- Working with technical teams to validate proposed solutions
- Working with technical teams, business users and support teams to identify requirements
