Wedding and Events Coordinator

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Work closely with the existing coordination team and clients to prepare for events beforehand and manage them on the day
- Oversee events on a regular rotational basis, including during evenings and weekends
- Work closely with the front of house and bar team to ensure seamless flow of events
- Attend planning meetings the prep day before events, usually Tuesdays and Fridays
- Communicate with vendors to ensure their safe arrival and departure during an event, including caterers, florists, and entertainment providers.
- Coordinate logistics on the wedding day, including setup, vendor management, and guest services.
- Provide guidance on décor, themes, and colour schemes to enhance the overall aesthetic of the event.
- Manage any issues that arise during the planning process or on the wedding day itself with professionalism and poise.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients throughout the planning and event day process to ensure satisfaction.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in hospitality or event planning is preferred but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and vendors.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail are essential traits for success in this role.
- This position may be suitable for a graduate looking to gain more experience in hospitality

Pay: From £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
