**Senior Test Engineer**

Hybrid - 2 days a week in Newcastle
- Work in a multi-disciplinary Agile Team and understand Agile delivery principles, methodology and tools.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Managers, Delivery Managers and Release managers for effective delivery of the service through exploratory manual and automated testing.
- Build and deliver comprehensive, robust and reliable automated test frameworks and automation suites to provide full coverage of business requirements.
- Undertake reviews of the test suite and update the code base to reflect current best practices and reduce technical debt.
- Contribute to the design, technical setup and working methods for continuous integration, delivery and deployment practices.
- Ensure that usability, accessibility, security, stability and capacity are embedded in the development of citizen services.
- Developing other Test Engineers.
- Promote QA best practices, tools and techniques.
- Experience of working in complex, multi-disciplinary environments, with multiple product streams, engaging with senior stakeholders while delivering to enthusiastic timescales.
- Experience of creating test (automation) strategies and driving the implementation across an organisation.
- Comprehensible experience in software testing within an Agile delivery team (Working in TDD), for example Git, CI/CD (Jenkins, GO, GitLab), Page Object Model (Selenium/Webdriver), BDD(Cucumber/JBehave/Lettuce/Jasmine/Specflow) and the testing of micro services(APIs, REST, Message Bus, Message Queue etc)
- Demonstrable understanding of Non-Functional testing including Performance, Accessibility and Security Testing with adherence to relevant policy/law.
