We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our culinary team in meal preparation and ensuring a smooth operation in the kitchen. **Duties**:

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
- Help with setting up and organizing the kitchen before and after meal service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Assist the cook or chef with various tasks as needed
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient workflow during meal service
- Help with dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen utensils and equipment

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 16.5 per week
