Overview:
Join our team as a Cook and showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals while adhering to food safety standards.
**MAIN DUTIES**:
- Working as part of a team to prepare and deliver exceptional food.
- Prepare all food items as directed in a clean, tidy and timely manner.
- Follow recipes and presentation standards.
- Ability to operate all the kitchen equipmentwith the correct training in a safe and proper manner.
- Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment.
- Assist with safe storage of deliveries.
- Ensure that all food is stored in the correct manner and that stock rotation is properly carried out.
- Be aware of Health and Safety at Work and Hygiene regulations
- Understand and control stock in your particular area of the business ensuring wastage is controlled.
- Practice good personnel hygiene at all times to comply with company policies.
About you:
- Passionate about working in hospitality.
- Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment.
- Great eye for detail and take pride in delivering well presented and tasty food.
- Willing to work in different sections and kitchens and have good all-round knowledge of a kitchen.
- Be organised and able to work under pressure.
- Team player essential with a flexible andadaptable approach to work.
- High level of professionalism.
- Food Safety Level 2 and Food Allergen Certificate.
- Good personnel hygiene.
- Good communication skills.
Pay: From £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
