A BRAND-NEW opportunity for a **Director of Marketing** to join a subsidiary of an global tech and data consultancy.

As the Director of Marketing, you will have proven strategy, budget planning and team management experience. You will focus on leading a team of 15 with 6 direct reports and offer direction and support as required. You will also manage the relationshipswith senior stakeholders across 13 business units. You will be responsible for a significant budget and work in collaboration with the CEO setting BU budgets in accordance with BU objectives and give clear justifications for spend.

**Responsibilities of theDirector of Marketing**
- Educate and support business units in identifying and evaluate target markets and developing effective strategies to communicate to them
- Educate the marketing team of changes to channels including e-marketing, social media, advertising, sponsorship and events
- Oversee the entire customer journey across all touch points (online and offline)
- Provide insight and strategic leadership for the marketing team
- You will blueprint the marketing function, striking the right balance between in-house and outsourcing
- Develop and deliver overall brand and communication strategy to ensure consistent/one voice across multiple industry sectors
- Drive brand awareness through all marketing channels and in particular through thought-leadership and PR
- Collaborate with the CTO to help set and drive forward the data strategy in line with the firm's migration onto a new CRM platform
- Manage and direct the martech and operations marketing team
- Manage all external agency relationships i.e. copywriting agencies, comms agencies, PR, freelance designers etc. and supplier onboarding processes

**Director of Marketing Requirements**
- Ideally have a CIM qualification
- Worked in technology or data
- Strong track record in people management both direct and in-direct
