***Department Overview **:This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly visible position on the Airwave Finance team. The mission of the Airwave Finance team is to deliver value to the Airwave business by providing finance support through timely, data-driven analysis, effective resource planning and management of business performance to help our business partners execute on their strategic and operational imperatives that contribute to strong financial performance.

**Please note this is a fixed term contract role, (employed) got 12 months.**

**This is a hybrid working role. It is a mixture of home working and office working from our Slough based office.**

In this role, you will be the finance business partner supporting the Estate, Pronto and MACS software businesses and provide overall oversight of these businesses, which are expected to be one of the Airwave’s primary growth drivers.

You will partner with various stakeholders, including Offer Management, Business Development, Business Operations and the Airwave business, etc., as it relates to overall financial management and operational support for the business. Your responsibility will include performing monthly analysis of the Real Estates, Pronto, MACS P&L, month end Close, the cost of delivery, investment prioritization, maintaining overall budgets, budget planning, forecasting, capital planning, variance analysis, and working with Airwave finance teams to ensure alignment with P&L plan and forecasts. You will also be responsible for monthly and ad-hoc reporting related to Estates, Pronto/MACS as well as the overall European Smart Public Safety business. Additionally, you will work to develop solutions to improve financial results, and play a key role in supporting day-to-day business analytics, including supporting business case analysis for new offerings, development of new metrics, and ad-hoc analysis.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for the financial forecasting and reporting on one of the major capital projects currently underway within Core Airwave as well as tracking the margin on major Airwave revenue growth projects.

This role will play a critical role in analyzing monthly results and providing details back to both Airwave Finance and Corporate Motorola Finance. ***Basic Requirements**:

- Accounting Certifications Required: ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Extensive experience working in Finance / Accounting / Business Support role.
- Understanding of financial and operational metrics.
- Month End/Quarter End Accounting Close experience.
- Strong analytical skills, organization, and curiosity to advance the position.
- Exercises good judgment, and comfortable working at a detailed level under time constraints and with multiple operating constituents.
- Strong system skills including MS Office, Oracle, and Essbase are a plus.
