**Administrator - Leeds - 12 months fixed term ( maternity cover)**

The Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) aims to deliver faster, longer, more frequent, and more reliable services across the north of England, from Newcastle, Hull and York towards Manchester and Liverpool via Leeds.

The aim of the TRU Alliance is to transform the East of Leeds route allowing people to travel faster, more reliably and in greater comfort between the North’s great cities. Providing passengers with more choice, more seats, and better facilities on a safer, cleaner, more environmentally friendly railway.

In this role you’ll be assisting the Project Delivery team in all key areas of the project. This is a critical role ensuring all areas of the project meet the Construction Design Management Regulations 2015 (CDM) from Site Access Control to controlling important documents.

**What you will be doing**:

- Ensure all site staff, office staff & visitors sign in and out ensuring all the relevant site and office-based questions are asked also ensuring all staff have completed the mandatory online induction prior to attending or assisting them to complete.
- Ensure all staff and visitors present their proof of induction card or print induction cards if not present on arrival
- Ensure site staff are well informed of required paperwork which must be submitted to the Duty Managers at the end of each shift. Also ensure all staff are aware of their works and location for the day
- Be the first point of contact for the compound helping staff with general queries
- Gather and submit Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Subcontractor hours to Murphys and the client
- Order supplies for compounds and site activities
- Manage and order PPE request after approval
- Liaise with the Resource Coordinators to obtain the relevant Rail Site Attendance Sheet for each shift.
- Attend relevant weekly meetings such as Plan Do Reviews, Whiteboard and Feedback Friday and any other Alliance team building meetings.
- Keep accurate records of documents electronically by scanning and filing on the Alliance shared systems including updating registers
- Keep paperwork forms up to date inline with Alliance procedures ensuring a good level of stock is present for staff to use for on-site based activities
- Keep Health and Safety notices boards up to date including Alliance updates, safety bulletins, insurance policies and any other relevant information
- Undertake regular system audits to ensure all paperwork has been returned and registers are up to date and correct
- File important documents such as Work Package Plans and Task Briefing Sheets on the Alliance systems and ensure registers are up to date and in line with the documents numbering system.
- Enforce Health and Safety regulations in and around the compound

**What we are looking for**:

- Proficient at using Microsoft packages including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, ProjectWise, Asite and Sharepoint.

- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of team or on own initiative
