We are looking for a kichen hand/cook to join the OK Diner team.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while ensuring that all food follows company crib sheets and that safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.

This role is essential in creating an enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

**Duties will entail**
- Setting up the kitchen for service,
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Manage food preparation tasks efficiently, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods.

**Qualifications**
- **experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment is essential.**:

- **knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.**:

- **you must have the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.**:

- **Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation.**:

- **Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.**:

- **Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.**

**Our shift patterns are**

**8.30am until 2.30pm**

**2.30pm until finish, or**

**8.30am until finish**

**The restaurant closes at 8pm and then kitchen has to be closed down and cleaned therfore the finish time can be between 8.30pm and 9.30pm**

**flexibility is essential**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 18/24 per week though you must be flexible as this may be increased to cover holidays/sickness
