**AT JANGALA EVERYONE HELPS WITH EVERYTHING SO YOU ARE LIKELY TO BE INVOLVED IN OTHER TASKS OUTSIDE OF YOUR MAIN ROLE, A FLEXIBLE AND WILLING ATTITUDE IS THEREFORE ESSENTIAL.**

2-3 DAYS A WEEK TO INCLUDE REGULAR WEEKEND WORK. COOK EXPERIENCE DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL AS TRAINING CAN BE PROVIDED.

**Our menu is simple family favourites so whilst experience is preferred you don't have to be a fully qualified chef just a competent cook who is speedy in the kitchen and calm under pressure. We will provide training & food hygiene certification if needed.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes
- Follow recipes and ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth operations

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a cook in a professional kitchen or catering environment is preferred but not essential, training can be provided.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary trends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 27 per week
