**Richmond Village in Aston on Trent is looking to appoint a new Cook to join their team. The role of Cook in this luxury retirement village is a unique blend of culinary skill and lifestyle balance. **Passionate about food, you bring experience working in a variety of high-volume, multi-service, and quality kitchens. With expertise in diverse cuisines and cooking techniques, you possess a comprehensive understanding of the catering and hospitality industry, including Care Homes, hotels, conference centres high-quality pubs, and restaurants, as well as outside catering.**:
**Working in such a refined and serene environment, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your talents across various dining settings, from intimate care home meals to bustling restaurant and clubhouse events.**:
**You'll help us make health happen by**:

- ** Catering to residents, visitors and the public across the village which includes an 80 cover table d'hôtel Restaurant, 40 cover Bistro/Café bar, 40 cover Club House Café and 3 Care Home dining rooms.**:

- ** Prepare and cook food in accordance with food hygiene regulations against a set menu to a consistent and high quality standard.**:

- ** Deliver front of house services to customers ensuring consistent standards.**:

- ** Work within the extensive HACCP framework tailored to a Health Care Environment.**:

- ** Maintain a clean and hygienic working area.**:

- ** Respond to residents and customers dietary needs and personal preferences.**:
**Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role**:
**You are adept at catering for customers with special dietary requirements and have a solid understanding of health and safety procedures, ideally supported by an NVQ level 3 or equivalent City & Guilds and CIEH certification and demonstrable cooking skills.**:
**Open to new ideas, you'll have an innovative yet organised approach to cooking, always adhering to high standards and remaining calm during a busy service. You'll enjoy working with others, working together to create and deliver an excellent dining experience at each meal.**:
**Because we care for vulnerable people, we'll need you to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the cost of this (£40).**:
