**Salary**:SCP 28-32** **£24,703 - £28,099
**About AC Warehouse**:
We are fortunate as an organisation to benefit from the generosity of the public in the North East of Scotland, who support our work all year round. We couldn't do what we do without that support. We have struggled for a number of years to accommodate the volume of gift-in-kind at periods of peak activity and have been in need of a larger space to allow us to quickly process and turn around incoming donations, so that we can get them to the people who need them the most quickly.
As part of our growth, we have lucky to secure funding to allow to allow us to move this critical activity to a new Warehouse facility very close to our city centre operations and are now looking to recruit an experienced Storesperson/Warehouse Coordinator to lead our work in this area. We are mindful that moving into an industrial space brings particular challenges in terms of our Health and Safety responsibilities and we are committed to safe workplaces and sustainable growth, so are looking to recruit an individual with the skills, knowledge and capability to take this work forward.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Organising layout of facility
- Supporting with the production of appropriate health and safety plans, policies, procedures and risk assessments
- Monitoring compliance with site safety procedures
- Undertaking monthly HSEQ checks
- Ensuring the facility is kept clean and tidy on an ongoing basis
- Undertaking housekeeping checks
- Undertaking site inductions for new staff and volunteers
- Maintaining inventory checks
- Undertaking ambient food checks to ensure that food nearing expiry date is prioritised for distribution
- Organising pick up and delivery schedules.

- Driving licence
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good communication skills and pleasant manner
