Denton Golf Club is well known for its excellent standard of catering and hospitality; hosting events ranging from early morning breakfasts for golf members and societies to formal banquet dinning for weddings and other special occasions. We have a busy calendar and host a variety of golfing and private events ensuring no two days are the same. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to fulfil this role, who will be able to work well as part of the team, work independently on quieter shifts and represent the Club to your best abilities.

**Job Requirements**

Flexible working pattern as shifts will be worked on a rota basis to include evenings and weekends.

Experience in hospitality and leadership is necessary.

BII certification and cellar competency is preferred, but not a requirement as training is available.

We are looking for a professional, organised and hard working person who will enjoy the role and display an energetic approach.

**Responsibilities**
- General bar duties, including drinks dispensing, serving food, peripheral and cleaning.
- Processing customer orders through Epos till system.
- Engaging with customers and responding to general inquiries.
- Maintaining a clean and organised bar area.
- Clearing tables, wiping surfaces, and cleaning public areas.
- Monitoring and replenishing stock levels as needed.
- Working closely with the General Managers to effectively conduct all bar and event operations / setting up for events.
- Dealing with inquiries and demonstrating the venue’s facilities to potential clients.
- Managing functions and events including supervising bar and waiter staff
- Reconciliation of tills/monies and responsible for ensuring cash and stock are accounted for.
- Security of premises - opening and closing of premises.
